About Me

Warren Norred approaches the Texas Senate after serving as a happy warrior for conservative values in Tarrant County for nearly three decades. He is ready to lower property taxes, reduce regulations to assist businesses as Texas re-opens, support education improvement, guard election integrity, and reduce crime.

Warren Norred began as an electrical engineer, earning his masters degree in 1993 from UTA at night. As an engineer, he started a manufacturer representative firm that covered four states before he began studying law at what is now Texas A&M University School of Law. His academic legal experiences at Texas A&M University School of Law included revitalization of the local Federalist Society and a published work on the Ninth Amendment. After opening his own firm, he now serves clients nationwide in patent, litigation, bankruptcy, and civil rights. In the last decade, he has won multiple landmark cases in support of Term Limits, the First Amendment, banning Red Light Cameras, and assisting business owners with government overreach regarding COVID.

Warren has been deeply involved in the fabric of the local community for more than three decades. His many accomplishments include the founding of Arlington Classics Academy, which was the largest start-up charter school in the country; he now serves on its Board of Directors. Warren participated in Mansfield ISD’s “District of Innovation” process. Warren has served the Republican Party as a precinct chair, the GOP’s local counsel, and on the State Republican Executive Committee. The Tarrant County Commissioners Court invited Warren to join the JPS Hospital Board of Directors, where he successfully pushed for live-streaming of the Board’s public meetings in 2017.

Warren has been married to his wife Annette for 29 years. They have two sons, Noah and Solomon, and are active at their church, multiple school boards, and other community charities.
