Hailing from Huntsville, Texas, Tomalea Bench is a proud Texan, dedicated homemaker, and community member excited to amplify local voices, values, and interests. Committed to a vision of a stronger, more independent Texas, she has signed the Texas First Pledge as a part of the Take Texas Back initiative. This action highlights her devotion to Texan self-governance, expression of liberty, and her belief that Texas citizens should always hold the power to consent to their government and to withdraw said consent should tyranny prevail. Born on the Fourth of July in 1964, Tomalea personifies the patriotic spirit and embodies the courage to take a stand. Seeking election as the Republican Precinct Chair for Walker County Precinct 206 in 2024, she understands the importance of grassroots engagement and the need for principle-driven leadership within the party. Despite this being her first run for elected office, Tomalea is firmly rooted in her community. As a dedicated homemaker, she has developed skills in multi-tasking, crisis management, budgeting, and problem-solving, and she keenly understands the concerns of everyday Texans, offering her a unique perspective that will be invaluable when addressing the needs and concerns of her constituents. Passionate, determined, and principled, Tomalea Bench not only reads the Texas constitution but lives by it. By pledging to put Texas first, she has demonstrated her willingness to fight for her community's betterment and keep Texas controlled by Texans. We are convinced that Tomalea will approach her role as Precinct Chair with the same commitment, integrity, and devotion she has always shown. She is a candidate truly of the people, for the people, and by the people.
