Tim Sprinkle, currently serving as appointed Angelina County Commissioner for Precinct 1, is seeking formal election in the 2026 Republican primary. A lifelong Angelina County resident and TEXAS FIRST pledge signatory, Tim brings decades of leadership experience and a deep commitment to local self-governance.
Tim spent 33 years as a successful business owner in Lufkin and served 13 years on the Central ISD school board, including multiple terms as president. This background in both business and civic leadership shaped his belief that government exists to serve the people—not the other way around.
His roots in the community run deep. Tim and his wife Christel have been married for 32 years and have three children and two grandchildren. It’s for their future—and the future of all Angelina County families—that he’s committed to making the county one of the best in Texas.
Tim’s philosophy aligns with Article 1, Section 2 of the Texas Constitution: that all political power is inherent in the people. He believes Texans should govern themselves with minimal external interference and is dedicated to the principles of the TEXAS FIRST initiative—prioritizing the needs of Texans and empowering local communities to thrive independently.
Tim invites the people of Angelina County to join him in building a stronger, more independent Texas.
