I am a married, Christian, 52 year old former Midwesterner. My husband and I finally made it to the Lone Star State in 2014 and we have no intentions of ever leaving. Luke’s job allows me to call myself a retired healthcare professional. Having no children/grandchildren affords me the time to try and make Texas a better place for all of us to live. One of my passions is maintaining a pollinator friendly property and raising butterflies. My favorite is the monarch which, of course, is the official state insect of Texas.
I recently celebrated my one year anniversary as a member of the TNM. When I join an organization or take on a cause, I jump in with both feet. That is why I became a Certified Petition Circulator and collected 176 signatures in an effort to get the Texas independence question placed on the primary ballot. During the summer I volunteered extensively for the Adam Salyers campaign when my representative from HD118 quit and a special election was called. I chose to back him because he had signed the petition and was a vocal supporter of Texas independence. I am now the Bexar county captain for the Daniel Miller for Lt. Governor campaign. I have met so many great people because of these political endeavors. Many of them have inspired me to want to get more involved in the party. For me that starts with becoming the Chairperson for my Precinct #1102
I understand the job description and will take on the responsibilities with enthusiasm. I promise to work hard to turn out the Republican vote and to promote the Texas First candidates. I appreciate your support and prayers. Thank you.
