My name is Rachel Hogue, from Mineola, Texas , and I’m running for the State Board of Education District 9 position on March 3, 2026. I am a Christian, wife, daughter, educator, and a fifth-generation Texan. I have been married to my husband, Benjamin, for six years.

I have been in education for 14 years, and I am tired of bureaucrats making educational decisions for our children. We need a leader who can help us get back to basics. I am that leader. I believe our children are the future of our society. If we enable God+children+parents+children to achieve equal success in the classroom, we can make Texas education the gold standard.
