  • Mike Champion has been part of the San Antonio community for many years, working tirelessly to make it a better place. He started in the military serving as a combat medic, going on to become a physician assistant (PA) working in emergency medicine and cardiac surgery assigned to many locations. He is also a Texas RN who continues to serve as a medical provider in a variety of settings.
  • In addition to retiring from active-duty US Army in 1994, Mike continued to serve in the Texas State Guard for over 15 years totaling 37 years of service to Country and State. Serving from E-1 through NCO, on to Chief Warrant Officer and finally on to Colonel in the Texas State Guard where his final assignment was as Deputy Commander of the TXSG Medical Brigade.
  • He continues to work as a surgical educator for an international medical device company and has lived in San Antonio for over 20 years.
  • Mike knows the value of being connected. That’s why he’s running for this position. Help him help you secure the border, lower property taxes to realistic levels Texas families can afford. Address school funding that’s fair to all citizens. Continue to improve medical access to all Texans by maximizing our resources.
