Mary is a conservative champion, serving as Trustee on the Round Rock ISD School Board (Place 2) since 2020. She is fighting every day to protect our kids from the woke agenda and to empower teachers and students to succeed. With two children of her own in public schools, she is also a strong advocate for parents and families.
Before serving on the School Board, Mary was the 2019 Volunteer of the Year at Ridgeview Middle School, where she was also the PTA President. She is a graduate of Leadership Round Rock ISD. For 5 years, she instilled character and leadership skills in young girls as a Unit Leader for American Heritage Girls.
Mary is an invited member of the prestigious Academy of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers at Missouri University of Science and Technology. For many years Mary supported the Department of Defense (DoD) as a contractor and researcher including being a leader in the DoD's Digital Engineering Transformation.
Highly energetic. Focused. Dedicated. These are the traits that help Mary lead Round Rock ISD, consult for NASA, teach at the University of Southeastern Norway, and volunteer in our community – all while running for Texas State Board of Education.
Mary is clearly and deeply passionate about educating our kids. She is actively inspiring the next generation to achieve excellence and contribute to our nation’s strength and success.
As a member of the Texas State Board of Education, she will fight to ensure our kids are taught to love their country and state, to value family and service, and to learn responsibility.
Mary and her husband, Jason, have been married for 24 adventurous years. They and their daughters attend Fellowship Church in Round Rock.
