My name is Kerri Kingsbery, and I am a true conservative Republican who wants to represent you in Texas House District 68. I am also a successful businesswoman, wife, mother, and grandmother who has worked to keep Texas red for over 20 years. My passion is helping people succeed, from mentoring teen mothers to being a court-appointed children’s advocate to starting a business that allows people to develop their skills and prosper.

In 2017, my husband of 41 years, Bob, and I moved to Cooke County to enjoy a beautiful country lifestyle. I became active in local and state Republican organizations. Bob and I have been delegates to the last two state Republican conventions.

I want to use my experience and ability to work for the citizens of House District 68. Texas is at an important crossroads. Like you, I am beyond frustrated that the House Republican majority, with a Republican Senate and Republican governor, cannot pass Republican voter priorities. The current leadership continues to kill vital legislation by appointing Democrats to House chairmanship positions.

This past session proved to be the worst. At a time when we are fighting to save America, the Texas House tried to impeach the most conservative and effective Republican Attorney General in state history, Ken Paxton, who is leading the charge to stop the disastrous Biden agenda.

I have heard from and spoken to so many conservative Republicans who are disappointed and fed up with the Republican Party. I am completely embarrassed that our representative, David Spiller, not only supported House Speaker Dade Phelan’s appointment of Democrat chairs but was one of the Republicans who managed the impeachment. Beyond disgusting!

This is why I’ve decided to run for House District 68. We must stop electing lawyers and politicians who tell us one thing but do another! We need to send true conservatives to Austin to fight for the future of Texas.
