I grew up in Irving, TX and graduated from MacArthur High.
I attended ETSU, now A&M Commerce and graduated from ITT Arlington.
I have lived in Grand Prairie since 1981, and my kids graduated from South Grand Prairie High.
I am a grandma with grandkids in the Texas public education system.
I teach 4th grade girls at my church, all 3 services.
I tutor elementary math at a charter school.
I am a born and bred Texan of several generations.
I was a precinct chair for 20+ years.
I founded the Grand Prairie Tea Party.
I have block walked for many campaigns in the past.
I have been an alternate judge or election judge for 30+ years.
