Jack Reynolds’ story is a testament to the transformative power of education and perseverance. Born as the second youngest of five boys to a mother who started her family at the age of thirteen, Jack’s journey has been marked by significant milestones and challenges.

He holds the distinction of being the first member of both his extended and immediate family to graduate from high school. His commitment to service is evident from his time in the military, where he served as an Army Infantry and Desert Storm veteran, receiving an honorable discharge twice.

Before embarking on his higher education journey in 2007 with his new wife, Jack worked at a cardboard box factory, earning minimum wage. His pursuit of education as a first-generation college student culminated in graduating cum laude in 2010, at the age of 42, during the peak of the financial crisis. This achievement was followed by his move to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Jack’s dedication to education continued as he worked through graduate school as a high school math teacher. He completed his master’s degree in economics in 2013 and earned a doctoral degree in educational leadership and policy studies in 2018.

On a personal note, Jack has been married for 15 years and is a proud father to his son, Jackson.
