The Republican nominee for State Board of Education District 14, Evelyn Brooks, has over 23+ years of work in education and youth development. This experience includes classroom teaching, tutoring, homeschooling, mentoring, founding of a small private school program, a summer STEM science youth camp program, and working as a youth development facilitator.
In 2021, Brooks ran for Frisco ISD Board of Trustees Place 7, and lost to the incumbent, however, she never stopped fighting for the future of her greatest legacy, daughters, Ashlynn and Brianna.
Evelyn can differentiate between a challenging and quality education system, and a failed education system. Brooks knows how to set effective curriculum standards that challenge children to achieve academic excellence.
Evelyn Brooks is running for the State Board of Education to defend and protect the needs of our nation’s most vulnerable people, children, from being oversexualized through Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE); hating our American heritage through Diversity, Equity, and Diversity (DEI), and being indoctrinated through Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
