Dr. Dana Myers serves as a Medical Business Consultant for the health law firm Spiers Group. Dr. Myers works with a Texas-based investment and development group working to build a critical need medicine and saline bag manufacturing plant in Texas, rather than depending on China or other foreign countries. Myers received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Upon completing her training, she was invited to remain on faculty as an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery. Throughout her surgical career, Dr. Myers' practice evolved from general and trauma surgery to one more focused on laparoscopic, endocrine, and breast cancer surgery, which she practiced throughout Texas Medical Center and surrounding hospitals. She went on to join a large multi-specialty group in the Texas Medical Center as Medical Director of the Breast Center, developing and expanding the facility to provide services to over 400,000 patients.

Dr. Myers established D.L. Myers MD and Associates and continued to consult on the design and development of breast and surgical centers. While working on health policy issues at all levels of government, Dr. Myers transitioned into business and policy.

In addition to her current business endeavors, Dr. Myers has been actively involved in advising non-profits, such as the Texas Two-Step: Save A Life Campaign. This national program offers free hands-only CPR training. She served on the Board for Kids' Meals Houston and was an Assistant Scoutmaster for Scout Troop 55 in Houston. She also serves on the Engineering Board of Houston Baptist University.

Dr. Myers is the current Vice-Chair of the Republican Party of Texas, two-term Vice-Chair of the Harris County Republican Party (HCRP), past Regional Director for the RPT/TFRW VEP Strike Force for Harris and the surrounding counties, current Texas Federation of Republican Women VP Membership, Chair of Operation Wrangler (RPT/TRCCA)to train and recruit precinct chairs, Past HCRP Co-Chair of Engagement, Past RPT Communications Task Force member under Chairmen Dickey and West, and two-term President of Magic Circle Republican Women’s group in Houston.

Dr. Myers is married to Dr. Jon Spiers, a former General Land Office Candidate, and is a longtime resident of Houston, Texas.
