Deanna Robertson

My name is Deanna Robertson, I am a Christian, Conservative, Republican, 5th generation Texan. I’m 47 and have been happily married for 17 years. We have lived in Kingwood for 16 years. I graduated University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in Religious Studies. I made the dean’s list at Tarrant County College where I received a certificate in Medical Transcription.

I graduated Millennium 3, a leadership educational course. I graduated with honors from Arlington Medical Institute with a phlebotomy, x-ray, and medical assistant degree. I was a registered medical assistant/surgical tech/charge nurse from 1997-2004 when I transitioned to Office Administration, finally leaving the medical field in 2014. My husband and I are currently business owners of a structural steel detailing firm. I volunteer with a local animal rescue, as the scheduling coordinator and a walker. I volunteer with a couple of pet boutiques during flooding to deliver donated food, beds, and misc. items to victims of the flood. I am a certified scuba diver. We started rescuing special needs pit bulls 13 years ago. I am thankful every single day, grateful to God for every lesson, mistake, blessing, and adventure in my life.
I am a compassionate, honest, dedicated leader and advocate. There has never been an obstacle that I haven’t overcome either independently or as a team member. I paid off my school loans with hard work and perseverance. There have been several instances in my life that I worked multiple full-time jobs and part-time jobs while going to college and high school in order to obtain the dreams and goals that I desired.

Over the last several years I’ve realized that we are no longer in charge of our government, and am not sure if we ever truly have been in my lifetime. I don’t pretend to have all of the answers, nor do I know what you as voters want to see changed, but I will do everything within my power to address and correct what is going on today, with your help. Therefore, I have decided to run for Texas House of Representative District 127. Some of the issues that I feel are relevant and critical and must be addressed are the vaccine mandates, election integrity, the power grid, term limits, the border crisis, public education, we need public oversight committees, and flood mitigation. But I need your input, this is your race more than mine. I want to hear from you and know what is important to you. I want to return the power back to the people, this is what I will fight for every step of the way.
