Caldwell is also a former candidate for Harris County Justice of the Peace (2018), the Houston Community College Board of Trustees (2017), and the Dallas City Council (2015).

Caldwell completed coursework at Parker University and earned a B.S. in civil engineering with a minor in mathematics from Texas A&M University. Caldwell obtained a J.D. from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

Caldwell’s professional experience includes working as an engineering group operations sergeant for the Texas State Guard and as an educator.
