With a robust career as a teacher, Cody has spent the last 12 years at the helm of the Hudson Agriculture Department, shaping the minds of countless students and instilling in them the importance of civic duty and active participation in government. His roles with the Texas FFA Association and the Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas have endowed him with invaluable experience in selfless leadership, objective decision-making, and fiscal responsibility—qualities he is eager to bring to the Commissioner’s Court.

Cody’s deep roots in community service are exemplified by his tenure with the Texas Farm Bureau, where he has served as a board member for 8 years, the last 3 as President. This role has not only allowed him to foster meaningful relationships with elected officials but also underscored his dedication to improving the standard of living for all Angelina County residents through strategic partnerships.

Family and faith are the cornerstones of Cody’s life. Alongside his wife, Madisyn, and their two daughters, June and Sunny, Cody focuses on crafting a future where his family—and yours—can thrive.
