Kayne Parrish is a 5th-generation Texan and Comal County resident with a lifelong commitment to public service, responsible leadership, and community stewardship.
Born in Palestine, Texas, raised on his family’s 100-year-old farm outside Frankston, Kayne learned early the values of faith, hard work, and personal responsibility. He is a graduate of Frankston ISD and began serving his community at a young age through volunteer leadership, nonprofit involvement, and church service.
Kayne has dedicated his professional career to public safety. He has served more than 15 years in the fire service, including 11 years with the Tyler Fire Department and currently with the New Braunfels Fire Department. He is also an EMT and holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot license. At NBFD, Kayne was entrusted with building and leading the department’s drone program, where he helped write policy and guide the responsible use of emerging technology to enhance public safety operations.
In addition to his public safety career, Kayne has extensive nonprofit and governance experience. He served ten years on the board of a local nonprofit organization supporting scholarships and community initiatives, including four years as board president. He currently serves as president of his neighborhood HOA, where he focuses on transparency, fiscal responsibility, and resident engagement.
Kayne is finalizing his Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Public Administration degree to further strengthen his knowledge of executive leadership and county governance, which he will have obtained by the time he takes office (if elected)
As a candidate for Comal County Judge, Kayne Parrish brings real-world experience in emergency management, budgeting, policy development, and organizational leadership. He believes effective county leadership requires accountability, responsible growth, protection of natural resources, and government that answers to the people it serves.
