Longtime Waller County resident, Texas A&M graduate, and community advocate Shannon Birkelbach has officially announced her candidacy for Waller County Commissioner, Precinct 2. With deep roots in the community and a forward-thinking vision, Shannon pledges to lead with integrity, fiscal responsibility, and a passion for preserving the values that make Waller County home.
“I’ve watched our county grow, and while progress is welcome, it must be managed wisely,” Shannon said. “We need conservative leaders who understand the importance of honoring our past and planning responsibly for our future.” With a unique blend of business acumen and hands-on leadership experience, Shannon brings a diverse skill set to the table:

Having worked in all three areas, Shannon is prepared to offer decisive, creative, and efficient financial solutions to support infrastructure, services, and quality of life in Waller County. “As your Commissioner, I will prioritize smart growth, protect you, as taxpayers, and ensure that rural voices remain heard in the face of rapid development,” she added.
