We are pleased to announce that Gregory Switzer, a candidate for the 44th District in the Texas House of Representatives, has signed the Texas Nationalist Movement’s (TNM) POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE’s TEXAS FIRST pledge. This commitment emblemizes his dedication to prioritize the interests of Texas and Texans above all else.

Switzer, a proud Texan, brings a wide set of skills and experiences acquired over his distinguished 31-year tenure in the U.S. Marines. His journey began in 1981 at Parris Island MCRD and Infantry Training School at Camp Geiger. From thereon, he built an illustrious career in Force Recon, Counterintelligence teams, and other critical roles in the Infantry and Marines. With a wealth of experience and a spirit dedicated to service, Switzer values our God-given rights, freedoms, and liberties.

By signing the TEXAS FIRST pledge, Switzer commits to uphold Texans’ rights under Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution. This provision allows Texans “to alter, reform or abolish their government” as they see fit. Switzer has also committed to push for legislation and resolutions throughout his elected terms, seeking a referendum on Texas reasserting its status as an independent nation. If the people of Texas vote in favor of independence, Switzer is pledged to work towards a fair and swift separation, prioritizing the interests of Texans.

Academically, Switzer is a well-rounded professional, holding Bachelor’s degrees in Government and Macroeconomics from George Mason University. He also carries a Master’s degree in Strategic Intelligence from Defense University War College, Fort McNair, and a law degree from Yale Law School.

Switzer has served in various duty stations around the globe, including Scotland, UK, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Eastern Europe, contributing to U.S. military operations in areas of conflict.

Beyond his military service and academic achievements, Switzer has played active roles in political campaigns for figures like U.S. Senators John Warner and Paul Trible of Virginia, Governor George Allen, Donald J. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, and Texas Senator Don Huffines, among others.

As a Republican contender for the State House District 44 seat, Gregory Switzer is embodying the spirit of the TEXAS FIRST pledge. By making this commitment, he is making a declaration that he is prepared to stand for the welfare of Texas above all else. We stand with him in his dedication, and commend him for his continued service to our community and the great state of Texas.
