Wesley Virdell, a 9th-generation Texan, who is currently a candidate for House District 53 in the upcoming election, has pledged to place the interests of Texas above all else by signing the Texas Nationalist Movement’s (TNM) TEXAS FIRST pledge. With a rich history of service to his country and a passion for preserving individual freedoms, Virdell demonstrates a commitment to always put the interests of Texas and Texans first.

Wesley Virdell, born and raised in Texas, is a decorated veteran, accomplished entrepreneur, and current Texas State Director for Gun Owners of America. His family has a long history of fighting for freedom, from one of his ancestors who was among the Immortal 32 Gonzales Rangers who fought at the Alamo, to his grandfathers who served in World War II and made significant contributions to the boating industry.

Virdell’s devotion to service led him to join the U.S. Air Force, where he worked on Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and served as a Military Training Leader. Now, Virdell brings his passion for service and freedom to his political aspirations. He is determined to uphold not only the rights of gun owners but the rights of all Texans.

By signing the TEXAS FIRST pledge, Virdell has committed to strive unreservedly for the interests of Texans while in office if he is elected. He has pledged to support the right of Texans to alter, reform, or abolish their government, as given under Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution.

Moreover, Virdell has pledged his support for legislation and resolution that seeks to call for a vote on Texas reasserting its status as an independent nation. He will vote for such resolutions every term until a referendum is held.

More importantly, if Texans vote in majority for Texas to become an independent nation, Virdell has promised to work towards a fair and quick separation from the federal government, always putting the interests of Texans first.

Wesley Virdell’s commitment to uphold the TEXAS FIRST pledge presents an opportunity for Texans in House District 53 to elect a representative who firmly believes in prioritizing their interests above all else.
