Born and bred in Texas, Mostyn carries with him old-fashioned Texas values that were instilled in him through homeschooling and experiences from his hardworking, blue-collar family background. His industrious nature was evident from an early age, using lawnmowing and other small jobs as stepping stones.
Mostyn proved his dedication and astuteness during his tenure at Del Valle High School and later as an employee at MCI Telecommunications Company. Following this, his patriotic spirit led him to serve in the US Army where he was honored with multiple medals and awards.
Mostyn transcended his gritty work ethic and leadership qualities into various professional roles. From owning several businesses, serving as an executive to coaching Department of Defense (DOD) employees, Mostyn polished his problem-solving skills to a fine sheen.
With a vision to eliminate the elements hindering the growth and possibilities of his home state, Mostyn pledges to utilize his vast experience to work for Texans. His robust sense of responsibility motivated him to sign the TEXAS FIRST pledge, outlining his commitment to prioritize the future of Texas citizens over all else.
