Bio:

Dear Neighbor,

Born and raised in Rosenberg and Richmond, I am a Fort Bend County native.

My loving and supportive husband, Eric, and I have been married for eight years and have a precious six-year-old daughter, Ariana, who we treasure dearly. She is the drive for everything I do in life because I want her to see that she can do anything she sets her mind to.

Growing up in a single-parent household with another sibling, I am privileged and blessed to be a living example of where hard work, perseverance, and dedication can lead you.

I was taught that education is the key to unlocking your potential and succeeding in life.

The law, being a key to something greater than oneself, and serving others are my passions.

My husband and I are small business owners. I am a former employee of the State of Texas, working in the Department of Family and Protective Services as a Child Protective Services Specialist IV. In my past six years with CPS, I have been an advocate for children exposed to abuse and trauma. Being a voice for the unheard, I aided families in overcoming traumatic events that leave far too many hopeless and scarred for life.

A case manager for a homeless youth shelter, I support children who are vulnerable, homeless, and in need of guidance, care, and love.

I am trained to recognize distress, mental health issues, abuse, and neglect.

I believe my education and the experience I have acquired best equip me to serve as your next Justice of the Peace. I hope to gain your trust and your vote in the months to come.

Sincerely Yours,
Corrina Ruiz
